About the professor
In 2006, she became senior lecturer in Equine, Leisure and Sports at Van Hall Larenstein, researching several areas in equestrian sport. In 2015, she worked at the Royal Dutch Equestrian Sports Federation (KNHS) and her responsibilities included sports development, recreation and public affairs. She swapped this job in 2017 for a job at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Utrecht University. There, she was responsible for realising a broad palette of projects aimed at improving animal and human health and welfare, in collaboration with societal and business partners.
In addition to her scientific publications, she wrote several books and regularly lectures at (inter)national conferences and meetings. Besides her work as a lecturer at the University of Applied Sciences, Inga is attached as an external researcher to the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Utrecht University.
